The Host

Since I was a child, I'd always been interested in strange phenomena.  My great-aunt owned a Reader's Digest book called Mysteries of the Unexplained (there's also an awesome podcast that focuses on this specific book).  I'd flick through it and be amazed and terrified at what I read--with some of them actually keeping me up at night. 

 

I discovered podcasts in 2019, and often listen to them when I do chores or want to curb my boredom.  Most of the podcasts I'd listen to are about strange cases that happen all over the world; talking about UFOs, hauntings, cryptids and all sorts of unsettling topics like those.  The idea of making my own podcast was brewing in my mind for the past year or so, but it wasn't until 2023 that I decided to finally take the plunge.  So here's Bizarre Yarns, a true story podcast focusing on the strange, mysterious, and unexplained in Australia.

This special interest stuck with me all my life, and every now and then I'd talk about spooky happenings with family and friends.  Now this time, I want to share them with you.
